It’s ALL YOur fault
It's All Your Fault
It always has been.
We naturally resist blame — it feels like an admission of weakness. But that couldn't be further from the truth. Ownership isn't a weakness. It's the foundation of every meaningful change you will ever make.
That failed relationship? Your fault. You saw the signs, you saw the red flags, and you kept going anyway. Poor health? Food is too expensive, time is too short — the excuses are endless. Still your fault. Missed your sales goals? Your best client left, the market shifted, and the timing was off. Still your fault. You knew the risk of relying on a single source, and you took it.
But here's the question worth sitting with: if you're willing to own the bad, why wouldn't you claim the good?
It's my fault I ignored the red flags. So I find myself in this situation — and I'll deal with it, because I put myself here.
It's my fault I chose to eat poorly for years. So I stopped. I started fasting, which cut my food costs and forced me to be more disciplined. With that one simple shift, I lost weight, felt better, and accomplished more than I had in years.
Blame is easy. It's comfortable. It hands control of your life to circumstance, to other people, to anything but you. The moment you take ownership, everything changes. You stop being a passenger and start being the one behind the wheel. You decide who you are. You decide what you build. You decide what your life becomes.
The good, the bad — it's all your fault.
Choose the fault worth owning.
